On October 2, during the 2000 Olympic Games, Tai Ji Men gave an unprecedented performance titled "An Evening of Tai Ji Men Ancient Culture" as the last performance of the night at the Opera House.

The performance of Tai Ji Men dizi caused a sensation during the 2000 Olympic Games, and they were especially invited to parade on the Olympic Boulevard.

The summer Universiade is only second to the Olympic Games. The Taipei 2017 Universiade took place in Taipei, Taiwan, andmore than 140 countries and territoriesparticipated in it. The Taiwanese team has won 26 gold medals, 34 silver medals, and 30 bronze medals, establishing a new record in Taiwan’s history.

The opening ceremony of the Taipei 2017 Universiade kicked off by the Tai Ji Formation “Passing on the Torch, Heart to Heart,” performed by Tai Ji Men dizi.
