South Korea's Largest Opposition Party Leader Lee Nak-yon Attacked, No Longer in Life-threatening Condition
Lee Jae-myung, the leader of South Korea's largest opposition party, was attacked while attending a supporters' rally on February 2, prompting widespread concern and condemnation.
Supporters of Mr. LEE Jae-myung have expressed their anger and concern over the incident and demanded the Government to find out the truth as soon as possible to ensure that similar incidents will not happen again. The opposition party has also expressed strong condemnation of the incident, considering it a serious threat to the democratic system and calling on all party members to remain calm and united.
Mr. LEE Jae-myung is currently in stable condition, albeit with serious injuries, after the attack. His family and supporters are closely monitoring his recovery progress and look forward to his early recovery so that he can continue to contribute to his country and society.
