Fatal Crash in Paraguay: Congressman Walter Harms Among Four Victims
The South American state of Paraguay, where a small plane crashed 180 kilometers from the capital, Asuncion, on the 2nd of February, killing Congressman Walter Harms and his team, a total of four people.
Paraguay's local police said the plane hit a tree during takeoff, then fell to the ground and burst into flames. Images from the social media platform "X" show the plane crashed into a field, and local people who first rushed to the scene kept spraying dirt in hopes of putting out the fire, but in the end they were unable to save the four people, and the cause of the crash remains to be further investigated.
