Tense Situation in Northern Myanmar

The recent bombing attacks along the Burma-Myanmar border, especially the destruction of a convoy of 120 lorries imported from China, have caused further irritation in China! According to the news, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) has been conducting live-fire drills for four days on the Chinese side of the Burma-China border with the goal of clearing fire points and restoring order, causing international concern.

China issued a statement saying that the exercise activities were still going on as normal, expressing strong condemnation of the earlier attack on the Kokang fraudulent park, and emphasizing that security measures would be stepped up to ensure the safety of military operations and personnel.

The Burmese government has remained silent on the incident and has not issued an official statement on the attack. The identity of the militants has not yet been confirmed, and the motives for the attack are yet to be investigated.

The international community has called on all parties to remain calm, strengthen cooperation and resolve disputes through diplomatic channels to ensure peace and stability in the region. However, concurrent military exercises and attacks on fraudulent parks have further complicated the situation in northern Burma, raising concerns about future developments.
