The World Leader Summit of Love and Peace took place on Nov. 4, 2023.

Peace is the common aspiration and responsibility of all people. The 24th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World brought together a total of 216 influential leaders from 59 countries. On the afternoon of Nov. 4, the Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL) organized the World Leader Summit of Love and Peace. In a world where natural and man-made disasters continue to occur, peace and security are the greatest desires of all human beings. FOWPAL hosted a ceremony of ringing the Bell of World Peace and Love, where Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, the Speaker of the Parliament of Ghana, rang the Bell and stated, ”Peace is the foundation of satisfaction, fulfillment and achievement. Let's live in peace and love for long life. In God we find peace and love.”

Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, president of FOWPAL, presented the Compass Clock of Conscience, a symbol of guiding people toward the path of light, to two important leaders: Hans Noot, president of Gerard Noodt Foundation for Freedom of Religion or Belief, and Chan Reec Madut, Chief Justice of South Sudan. "We should not wait for peace. We should create peace," said Hans Noot, noting that people always wait for the country leaders to create peace, but conflict will always be there. He urged people to learn to deal with it by following their conscience.

“There are no winners in war, and everyone is a victim. Millions of innocent children are the ones who suffer the most,” said Dr. Hong, emphasizing, “Every human being is a seed of goodness. When our bright conscience is activated, we can distinguish between right and wrong and use wisdom to turn crises into opportunities for positive change. While it may be challenging to entirely eradicate war, through education of conscience, we can nurture the younger generation, who are the pillars of the future, to become advocates and sustainers of peace.”

Numerous prominent attendees shared their perspectives on love and peace. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, the Speaker of Ghana's Parliament, emphasized that God created the world with love, intending it to serve as a community for humanity to coexist, love, and show mutual respect. He underscored that life's essence lies not in amassing material possessions but in finding contentment and happiness, noting that even someone with limited means can savor life more fully than a highly educated individual. Bagbin also highlighted the role of one's conscience in distinguishing between right and wrong.

The City Montessori School (CMS) in India kicked off the event with a love-filled and peaceful parade on the morning of November 4, 2023.

Inger-Mette Stenseth, co-founder of the World Climate School in Norway, believes that cultivating a culture of peace is a transformation that comes from within, emphasizing the significance of togetherness and unity. She stressed the idea that people should sow the seeds of love in their hearts, which will then flourish across the globe. This sentiment also represents her heartfelt prayer.

Divino Roberto Verissimo, president of the Organization for Environmental Preservation in Brazil, a long-time acquaintance of Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, remarked that Dr. Hong's courage and commitment to truth inspired him. He also noted that the FOWPAL delegation brought positive energy to the event.

Chan Reec Madut, the Chief Justice of South Sudan, expressed concern over the unfortunate loss of innocent children in various parts of the world. He emphasized that children are the world's future. He appreciated the discussion about unity and global citizenship, highlighting its importance, especially in communities where individuals are raised with a heavy burden of animosity and self-loathing.

The youthful volunteers from FOWPAL danced with great enthusiasm to the tune of "The Power of Love," symbolizing their hopes for a brighter future world. They also guided the audience in singing "A Prayer for Peace," igniting feelings of love and conscience, and fostering a yearning for peace in people's hearts. Additionally, they presented a video "Children from Heaven," which encouraged individuals to take action guided by their conscience and harness the power of hope to make positive changes in the world. This, in turn, aims to create a more promising future for both themselves and others, as well as contribute to the safety and sustainable development of the world.
