Police break up peaceful rally in Czech Republic
Czechs have taken to the streets of Prague to stage anti-government rally in Prague.
Protesters have demanded that the coalition government should go because of austerity measures imposed on members of the public.
In the biggest rally since the fall of communism in 1989, over 120,000 people packed into Wenceslas Square jangling their keys; the signal for the centre-right coalition cabinet to leave government.
The government of Prime Minister Petr Necas has recently been rocked by defections and corruption allegations.
While the government has imposed tax rises and passed measures to cut public spending, many people have complained their monthly pensions of around $550 are barely enough to live on.
