Obama lands in South Korea for terror talks
US president Barack Obama is in South Korea on an official visit to talk about nuclear terrorism and how the world's nuclear material should be made more secure.
The three-day trip will centre on an international nuclear security summit, in which he will be speaking with his South Korean counterpart Lee Myung-bak.
The US president flew into Seoul to confer with the top officials from 54 countries, including China and Russia.
Last week North Korea announced it would carry out a rocket-powered satellite launch in April.
South Korea has said the satellite launch will further create tension around North Korea's perceived attempts to develop a nuclear-armed missile.
The United States has threatened the move may jeopardise a food-aid agreement with Pyongyang.
North Korea has claimed it has a right to fire the missile and has invited international space experts to witness the launch.
