Iran says US helped in terror bombing
Iran has accused the United States, Britain and Israel of being involved in a deadly suicide bomb attack.
The attack occurred in front of the Imam Hussein mosque in southeastern port city of Chabahar on Wednesday, leaving 39 dead and more than 50 others wounded.
Iran's local press has said the bomb went off as people were gathering for a mourning ceremony commemorated by Shiite Muslims.
According to the Iranian press, the Pakistan-based Sunni rebel group Jundallah has claimed responsibility for the deadly attack.
Iranian Deputy Interior Minister Ali Abdollahi has accused the United States and Britain of being involved in the attack saying that equipment seized at the bomb site on Wednesday revealed that the bombing agents were supported by the intelligence services of the United States.
Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani later said that the terrorist act had been funded by the US and Israeli intelligence services.
He said in the past the United States had recruited people from Afghanistan "to create discord among Shiite and Sunni Muslims by carrying out terrorist acts."
