United States Marshals Announce the arrests of brothers Jesus Ramirez and Angel Escajeda
Kevin A. Carr, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced the arrests of brothers Jesus Ramirez and Angel Escajeda.
Jesus Ramirez was wanted by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for violations of his parole, after having been convicted of Abduction. On October 21, 2010 US Marshals Fugitive Task Force members (MFTF), along with members of the Sheboygan Police Department, approached 1307 S. 7th
Street, Sheboygan, Wisconsin. At this time, Ramirez was observed fleeing the residence. Ramirez was taken into custody after a brief chase. Ramirez denied his identity, but was identified by his tattoos.
The MFTF also attempted to locate Angel Escajeda at this residence, but he was not found. Escajeda was wanted for violations of his supervised release, after having been convicted of Distribution of Drugs. Relatives were uncooperative, but information was developed a day later that placed Escajeda at another Sheboygan address. During a search of this residence by the MFTF and Sheboygan Police Department, Escajeda was located and taken into custody.
