Red Shirts' protest is about to end in Thailand
Veera Musikapong, a leader of Thailand’s Red Shirts, declared in the protest zone that the protesters were waiting for Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva to announce the exact date of the dissolution of Parliament, and that as soon as the timetable is set, the protest in the downtown of Bangkok would end.
The National United Front of Democracy against Dictatorship’s (UDD) Red Shirts announced on May 4th that they would accept Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva’s five-point road map towards national reconciliation, but they also requested that specific dates be set. The Red Shirts said that as soon as the dates are set, they would dissolve and go home.
