The president of the Taiwanese Cultural and Sports Association of Northern California, Chih-Yang Chang, addressed the event, expressing hope that through the Kid's Fun Festival, Taiwan's soft power in citizen diplomacy could be promoted, enhancing interactions between people and fostering better family relationships. He also mentioned that the festival provides an opportunity for the younger generation of immigrants to understand the traditional games their elders played in their childhood. According to the organizers, this year's event featured a marketplace spread across 130 booths in areas such as the International Village, Traditional Games Zone, and Food Court, offering a rich and diverse array of activities. There were also stage performances for the public to enjoy.
