"I'm just very honored to be around him or associated with him, because I see that he's a key to the future of the peace for the world," he said. Denise Graves, Founder of Peace Ministry LLC & Institute, noted, “I'm very happy to have been a part of this and I just really love the energy and the tranquility that flowed through the experience. I had a great day.”

According to volunteer Cheng Yu-chen, every distinguished speaker who took the stage during the Closing Ceremony conveyed their gratitude to Dr. Hong. Whether it was the cultural exchanges, the bell ringing ceremony, or Dr. Hong's speech, everyone who attended was astounded and moved. Even yet, they claimed it was the first time in their life they had ever encountered such a wonderful baptism of love and peace. The message of love and peace from Dr. Hong was truly inspiring.

Another volunteer, Liu Mingzhe, shared that Bobby Hunter, one of the organizers of the youth exchange program on August 3, was not only a Harlem Globetrotter star, but also a volunteer for various NGOs. Bobby Hunter was concerned about the education of kids, and he tried to use sports, his faith, or other assets to steer kids in the correct direction. Bobby Hunter was moved to tears the moment he saw the Goodwill Group volunteers interacting with the young people through martial arts, music, and dance and noticed how happy they were. Bobby Hunter was also moved to tears when he heard the Goodwill Group youth meditate and pray for a more peaceful and loving world and for their families. In light of seeing this, Liu Mingzhe realized that "a good culture leads to a good education, and a good education leads to a good economy.” He recognized that a city's development would be guided by a conscientious mayor, and as a result, the entire nation would prosper.

The World Conference of Mayors (WCM), a non-profit, apolitical global conference founded in 1984, has grown into a key advocate for global cooperation by fostering exchanges, cooperation, and development among cities. The Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL), headed by Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, was established in California in 2000 with the goal of advancing a culture of love, peace, and conscience through events like the World Leader Summit of Love and Peace, bell-ringing ceremonies, cultural performances, and international conferences. FOWPAL’s goal is to awaken people's consciences and help them understand the value of conscience, peace, and love in the development of a sustainable world.
