International powers and Iran extended talks on a comprehensive deal over Iran's nuclear program, with new deadlines reaching into next year.

The United States and other world powers, trying to negotiate a deal with Iran to curb its nuclear development program, are now looking to extend their talks past their self-imposed Monday deadline.

A suicide bomber has struck a volleyball match in southeastern Afghanistan, killing at least 50 people and wounding more than 80 others.

Arab media say Iraqi government forces are resisting an offensive by Islamic State militants in the Anbar provincial capital of Ramadi Sunday, while making gains in nearby Diyala Province.
