According to a post by American billionaire Elon Musk on the social media platform X on the 16th (local time), his AI startup xAI will officially launch its chatbot "Grok 3," which is touted as "the smartest AI on Earth," at 8 PM Pacific Standard Time on the 17th (12 PM Taipei time on the 18th). A live demonstration of its capabilities will also take place during the event.

According to foreign media reports, Musk praised "Grok 3" as "the smartest AI on Earth," claiming that its reasoning abilities will surpass those of existing artificial intelligence models. He also stated that the world will soon witness the true power of this AI model.

The "Grok" model is the latest AI model series developed by xAI. "Grok 1" was introduced in November 2023, followed by "Grok 2" in August 2024. "Grok 3" boasts the use of a larger-scale dataset and advanced algorithms, enabling it to repeatedly review data, identify its own mistakes, and correct them—enhancing the coherence and accuracy of its responses. Additionally, its computational power is said to be ten times greater than that of "Grok 2."
