Massive prison escape in Pakistan
Militant and other prisoners have escaped from a Pakistan jail in Bannu, in the north west of the country.
Around 400 prisoners escaped early on Sunday after insurgents broke through the outside walls.
The insurgents, armed with guns, grenades and rockets stormed the jail, which is near Taliban tribal regions.
More than 150 militants continued the attack on the jail for more than four hours before prisoners started to run into surrounding areas,
Pakistan's Taliban movement had a large number of its members in the jail.
Many militants had recently been moved there from the neighboring Kohat and Lakki Marwat prisons, which are being converted into rehabilitation centres for former Taliban insurgents.
