Members of the family established a welcoming booth in front of their academy for passersby, while a simple setup in the recreation hall offered entertainment for trick-or-treaters. Simultaneously, another group of members participated in the Old Pasadena Halloween Celebration. Some adults and children ventured to a site decorated in Halloween mystique on Madison Avenue, known as Orange Heights, is designated as a National Historic Preservation District.
