Humans’ thoughts and intentions shape their future. Recently, the world has seen many natural and man-made disasters. Humanity’s over-consumption of the earth's resources has harmed the ecosystems, and extreme weather events have resulted in devastating natural disasters. In 2022, Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, the zhang-men-ren (leader) of Tai Ji Men, led the Love of the World Cultural Goodwill Group to many countries, bringing with them the Bell of World Peace and Love, which weighs 240 kg. They attended various international conferences, including Stockholm+50 in Stockholm, Sweden on June 2-3; the 25th Eurasian Economic Summit in Istanbul, Turkey on June 7-9; and the 2022 International Religious Freedom (IRF) Summit in Washington, D.C., USA on June 28-30. Additionally, Tai Ji Men hosted ceremonies of ringing the Bell of World Peace and Love in July and August, and it also organized such ceremonies in New York during the high-level week of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, as well as in Lucknow, India during the International Conference of Chief Justices of the World on November 16-22. A total of 52 visionary leaders rang the Bell within those six months, including six current and former presidents. After ringing the Bell, former Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki stated that the world is in desperate need of initiatives promoted by Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, president of the Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL) and leader of Tai Ji Men, and that peace is essential for everyone.

Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy, the Federation of World Peace and Love, and Association of World Citizens (AWC) co-organized two associated events with the theme of conscience. During the events, 11 visionary leaders from 10 nations rang the Bell of World Peace and Love, including Dr. Kwaku Afriyie, Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation of Ghana; Dr. Maminata Traore Coulibaly, Burkina Faso's Minister of Environment, Energy, Water, and Sanitation; Harald Fries, Director and Deputy Head of Department of International Development Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden and Ambassador of Sweden to the Philippines (2010-2016); Nancy Karigithu, Principal Secretary of State Department for Maritime and Shipping Affairs at the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, and Urban Development and Special Envoy for Maritime and Blue Economy of Kenya; Eve Bazaiba Masudi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for the Environment of Democratic Republic of Congo; Orlando Habet, Minister of Sustainable Development, Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management of Belize; Carlos Manuel Rodriguez, CEO and Chairperson of Global Environment Facility and former Minister of Environment and Energy of Costa Rica; Philda Kereng, Minister of Environment and Tourism of Botswana; Dr. Aldo Manos, former Director of UNEP; Donald Kaniaru, former Director in the Division of Environmental Policy Implementation at UNEP; and Qaiser Nawab, Director of Business Development for the Middle East.

Dr. Aldo Manos, 89, is a former Director of UNEP and has been dedicated to environmental protection. He attended the June 3 forum, rang the Bell, and stated, "I know that peace is our most important objective, but we also know that it's the most difficult one, so this requires all our commitment, all our energy, and all our faith." He emphasized, “Conscience is the essence of environmental protection.” As a veteran of the world's first Earth Summit 50 years ago, he is now invited back to Stockholm+50 and encourages young people to go beyond their dreams and return to Stockholm in 2072.
