California Pawnbrokers launch web campaign
The California Pawnbrokers Association has launched a new call to action.
A new campaign on their website focuses on educating lawmakers about how pawnbrokers provide financial resources to millions of Californians who are not otherwise deemed creditworthy.
The launch is part of CAPA's recent steps to integrate grass roots campaigning platforms into their legislative efforts in Sacramento.
Diane Taylor, CAPA president said: "In the current economic climate, it's important for legislators and the public to be aware of the vital role pawnbrokers play in providing alternatives to consumers with short-term credit needs."
By searching a customized database, members, pawnbrokers and industry supporters can quickly and easily locate their elected officials and electronically sign and send a pre-written letter.
