OECD annual inflation nudges up to 2.9% in July 2018

Annual inflation in the OECD area increased to 2.9% in July 2018, compared with 2.8% in June. Energy prices rose by 11.1% in July, compared with 10.4% in the year to June while food price inflation was stable at 1.8%. Excluding food and energy, OECD annual inflation increased to 2.1% in July, compared with 2.0% in June 2018.
