Falling energy prices push OECD annual inflation down to 0.4% in September 2015
Annual inflation in the OECD area slowed to 0.4% in the year to September 2015, down from 0.6% in the year to August, as energy prices continued to fall (by 12.4% in the year to September compared with a 10.2% in August).
Food price inflation remained stable at 1.4%. Excluding food and energy, the OECD annual inflation rate picked up marginally to 1.8% in September compared with 1.7% in August.
