"Recently, Texas, USA has experienced four severe wildfires. The dry and hot weather, coupled with strong winds, has caused the fires to spread rapidly. The total burned area has reached 291,000 acres (approximately 1178.55 square kilometers, or 4.3 times the size of Taipei City), equivalent to two American football fields being incinerated every second.

This fire, the fifth largest in Texas history, has spread rapidly, exceeding 370,000 acres, and the disaster is still not under control. Governor Greg Abbott has issued a disaster declaration for 60 counties (out of a total of 254 counties in Texas), warning that more counties will be affected and urging residents to evacuate as soon as possible. The fire has spread rapidly in the long and narrow areas of Texas, with flames soaring on both sides of the highway and thick smoke obscuring the sky, making it difficult to distinguish between day and night. Several towns have been ordered to evacuate, and a nuclear facility has been temporarily shut down.

The Smokehouse Creek Fire has become the fifth largest wildfire in Texas history, with a burned area exceeding the total of all fires last year. The southern heatwave and strong winds have caused the wildfire to spread quickly, with some parts spreading to other counties, and the fire has even crossed state lines to affect Oklahoma. Roger Mills County and Ellis County have issued evacuation orders to prevent residents from being trapped by the fire. Authorities in Hampshire County are also urging residents to evacuate, and Roberts County, Hutchinson County, Lipscomb County, and Moore County have all issued evacuation orders for high-risk areas."
