Aftermath of Hurricane Irene
Some parts of the community of Mini Mini were cut off due to the flooding. The flooding was caused by the heavy rain that followed Hurricane Irene.
Preliminary Damage Assesments were completed in several municipalities to evaluate the extent and type of damages in the aftermath of Hurricane Irene. In this picture, this home was affected by mudslides.

Residents return to their homes to clean and salvage what they can, after the River Canovanillas flooded their houses. This is the first time an event like this happens in this neighborhood in 44 years. FEMA is in the city to provide assistance to the disaster survivors.
