Emerging Economy Infrastructure Investments with Private Participation Hit $107.5 Billion in 2014 in Energy, Transport and Water

Total infrastructure investments in 139 emerging economies – for projects with private participation in the energy, transport and water sectors – rose to US$107.5 billion in 2014, driven largely by increasing activity in Brazil, according to an update released Tuesday to the World Bank Group’s “Private Participation in Infrastructure” database.
