CDC released updated guidance for health care providers to help diagnose and treat patients with e-cigarette or vaping lung injury (EVALI). This updated guidance comes as the 2019-2020 influenza season approaches, when many patients may show up in outpatient clinics or hospitals with symptoms of respiratory illness.

The Government of Samoa officially declared a state of emergency on 15 November 2019, four weeks into the continuing measles outbreak with more than 1000 suspected cases so far.
