U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Regional Administrator Judith A. Enck and Congressmember Rodney P. Frelinghuysen announced a plan to demolish or remove 34 buildings and structures at the Radiation Technology, Inc. Superfund site in Rockaway Township, New Jersey. The buildings and structures on the 263-acre site are contaminated with polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), asbestos and lead among other contaminants.
