Widas is in Botswana as part of Southern Accord 12, an annual combined, joint exercise that brings together U.S. military personnel with counterparts from the Botswana Defense Force to conduct humanitarian assistance/disaster relief operations, peace keeping operations and aeromedical evacuation to enhance military capabilities and interoperability.
