Two major Palestinian factions gather in Moscow for talks, attempting to cooperate in forming a new government.
On the 26th, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that representatives of Hamas are visiting Moscow; Mohammad Shtayyeh, the Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority, mentioned at the Munich Security Conference on the 18th that Russia had invited various Palestinian factions to Moscow for talks on the 26th. The two major opposing forces in Palestine realized that in order to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and recovery after the war, both sides must cooperate.
