10th Anniversary of MH370 Disappearance: Malaysia Resumes Search
Malaysia's Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim stated on the 4th that he would be "very willing to reopen" the search operation for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 if there is "convincing" evidence. This opens a door to restart the search mission 10 years after the plane disappeared.
On March 8, 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, a Boeing 777 carrying 239 people, has been missing for 10 years. It was originally scheduled to fly from Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, to Beijing, China, but it disappeared from the radar screen during the journey, becoming the biggest unsolved mystery in global aviation history. Despite the largest-scale search in aviation history, the whereabouts of the plane remain unknown.
Lu Zhaofu pointed out that the Malaysian government is proud of the new research and technology that has been proposed. He hopes to find the passenger plane through the search work and provide evidence to the relatives. He also emphasized that the position of the Malaysian government has always been consistent, and further search actions will be launched after confirming new news and reliable evidence.
