Six Killed in Indian Steel Plant Accident
A poisonous gas leak at a government-run steel plant in central India has killed six people and injured at least 30 others.
Officials say a damaged water pump caused deadly methane gas to leak into the Bhilal steel plant in Chhattisgarh state, some 40 kilometers from Raipur, the state capital.
The Steel Authority of India operates the Bhilal plant.
The cause of Thursday night's accident is under investigation.
