The globally anticipated 2026 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) by Apple is scheduled to take place online from June 9 to June 13 (Taiwan time). This five-day technology event will unveil updates across Apple’s entire lineup of operating systems.

The focus of this year’s conference will be on system upgrades for various hardware platforms, including the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. In addition to regular updates such as iOS and macOS, the market is highly attentive to how Apple will deeply integrate AI into its software architecture. Susan Prescott, Apple’s Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations, expressed strong confidence, stating that this event represents the pinnacle of technological innovation and will be one of the most iconic developer conferences in history.

The conference will kick off in the early hours of June 9 (Taiwan time) with the highly anticipated keynote presentation, followed by the “Platforms State of the Union,” a technical session designed for professionals. Apple has also prepared over a hundred instructional videos and online labs, allowing developers to connect directly with Apple’s internal design teams across borders.

Viewers can watch the event live via the Apple Developer app, the official website, and YouTube. Additionally, real-time updates will be available on platforms such as Bilibili, WeChat, and LinkedIn in selected regions.

Although the conference is primarily online, Apple has arranged an in-person event at Apple Park headquarters on June 8 (local time). Selected developers and students will have the opportunity to attend in California, experience the live broadcast atmosphere, and participate in technical consultations.

The Swift Student Challenge is expected to announce its final list of winners on March 26. In addition to the standard awards, 50 distinguished winners will receive special recognition and be invited to Apple’s headquarters for a three-day immersive visit, encouraging the next generation of creators to engage in programming and software development.
