Starship's 8th Test Flight Canceled 40 Seconds Before Launch
SpaceX's scheduled launch of the Starship rocket on the evening of March 3 local time (morning of March 4 Taipei time) was canceled before liftoff for unspecified reasons, with the company providing no further explanation.
The Starship rocket, the largest and most powerful in the world, was originally set to launch at 6:45 PM local time from the Starbase facility in Texas. However, the countdown was halted at T-minus 40 seconds, leading to the cancellation of the flight mission. This test flight was intended to be the eighth orbital mission for Starship and was an uncrewed mission.
A SpaceX spokesperson stated that the company has not yet determined a new launch date and time. There is a possibility that another attempt could be made at the same time the following day, but this will depend on the circumstances at that time.
