After deadly landslide in Uganda, UN aid agency brings relief to survivors
The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) is distributing food to the survivors of a deadly landslide in north-eastern Uganda that followed days of unrelenting rains last week.

At least three people in Kaabong district, which borders South Sudan and Kenya, died after their homes were buried by massive boulders dislodged during the landslide, according to WFP.
The agency is providing food to 26 survivors from four households, working with the Ugandan Red Cross and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), which are giving out other relief items, such as tents and basic materials.
WFP said local communities in at-risk areas are taking precautions to avoid further potential mudslides.
