Tai Ji Men Lunar New Year Gathering Marks 60th Anniversary with Prayers to Illuminate the World with Conscience and Hope

The most important “keywords” for 2026 have been revealed! At the Tai Ji Men Lunar New Year Gathering, walls were covered with the “Top 100 Keywords for the Year of the Horse,” allowing guests to draw inspiring sayings and were encouraged to replace “resentment” with “wishes,” bringing good fortune and positive energy into the new year.
Celebrating its 60th anniversary, the Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy held the “2026 Year of the Horse Tai Ji Men Lunar New Year Gathering” on Saturday, March 7th, at the Howard Plaza Hotel in Taipei. The event was filled with a festive atmosphere and featured martial arts performances combined with AI technology to recreate memorable historical moments. It also reviewed the meaningful journey of Tai Ji Men’s grandmaster and disciples visiting 122 countries around the world, sharing love globally. Step by step, their efforts embody the spirit of “Peace, Sustainability, and Blessings of the Galloping Horse,” sending blessings to people on different continents.

Dr. Hong Tao-Tze, grandmaster of Tai Ji Men, joined ambassadors and distinguished guests in launching a celebratory ice sculpture symbolizing “Sixty Years of Activation, Love Filling the World.”
At a time when global circumstances are complex and unpredictable, people increasingly long for peace and hope. In recent years, the United Nations established the “International Day of Conscience” and the “International Day of Hope,” initiatives in which Dr. Hong Tao-Tze has been an important advocate.
On that day, ambassadors from Paraguay, Belize, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and Somaliland, along with representatives in Taiwan from Nigeria, Mexico, Eswatini, the Philippines, Tuvalu, and other countries gathered with friends from various sectors of society. The event’s international significance was further underscored by congratulatory letters and telegrams from presidents, prime ministers, royalty, and dignitaries from around the world. With representatives from around 50 countries in attendance, the event was a truly international affair.

Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, emphasized: "The conscience of people is the foundation of a harmonious and sustainable Earth." For many years, he has led Tai Ji Men disciples on global goodwill visits to 122 countries, sharing love, peace and conscience through meaningful actions.
In his speech, Dr. Hong noted that the process of promoting the establishment of the United Nations’ designation of the International Day of Conscience and International Day of Hope has demonstrated that people everywhere long for peace and possess conscience. They are simply waiting for the moment to be awaken and hoping to find partners with whom they can do good together. Love and peace are the shared aspirations of humanity, and the conscience of people forms the foundation of the Earth’s harmony and sustainable future. Upholding this belief, he and his disciples will continue to travel the world, using conscience to ignite the light of hope and warm the hearts of more people.

During the ceremony, Dr. Hong rang the Bell of World Peace and Love nine times, offering prayers for national prosperity and safety, the awakening of conscience, and lasting peace.
The highlight of the event featured Dr. Hong and distinguished guests jointly inaugurating a celebratory ice sculpture themed “Sixty Years of Legacy, Love Spreads Across the World.” Furthermore, a 270-degree panoramic projection showcased the video “A Single Thought Across Sixty Years: The Universal Coexistence of All Life.” The presentation highlighted the core principles of peace and sustainability, illustrating how these key values translate into pivotal actions for change.
Paraguayan Ambassador Darío Filártiga Díaz shared, “I find all of this absolutely wonderful. I see art, soul, and joy. We share a common spiritual goal with Dr. Hong Tao-Tze: the pursuit of peace, love, and harmony for all humanity. Paraguay and Taiwan have maintained diplomatic relations for 69 years. We are not only friends, but brothers.”

Innovative martial arts performances breathe new life into ancient culture, pass on the spirit of martial arts through generations, and combine the mind and technology to face life's challenges with wisdom and courage.
H.E. Ambassador Mahmoud Adam Jama Galaal of the Republic of Somaliland Representative Office in Taiwan, remarked, “The spirit of the leader is truly moving. In today’s world, there are many conflicts. I hope the atmosphere and message conveyed at today’s event will spread widely and bring peace and harmony to the world.”
Hon. Mr. Francisco Javier Martínez, Deputy Director of Mexican Trade Services Documentation and Cultural Office, said, “The activities that Tai Ji Men is doing are very valuable. We should continue our efforts and keep promoting love and peace around the world.”

Tai Ji Men's Lunar New Year Gathering conveyed the spirit of "Peace, Sustainability, and Blessings," with the new generation of Tai Ji Men's "Energy" bringing a passionate dragon horse dance, wishing everyone happiness and good fortune in the future.

noted that what impressed her most was Tai Ji Men’s continuous encouragement and inspiration for people to embrace love, harmony, and positive beliefs, values that the world urgently needs.
Ambassador Michel Ching-long Lu, Former Representative to France and Director of the Sino-French-Belgian-Swiss Cultural and Economic Association emphasized that Tai Ji Men’s contributions extend beyond Taiwan. From a diplomatic perspective, the organization has played
an important role in sharing and promoting high-quality Chinese culture globally. He described the event as world-class and a testament to everyone’s collective effort and sincere dedication.

Female disciples of Tai Ji Men presented "Pine and Crane in Spring, Blessings Abound in the Garden," with cranes spreading their wings, symbolizing longevity, health, and good fortune.
After Dr. Hong rang the Bell of World Peace and Love nine times. He invited all attendees to pray for 60 seconds in silence to send blessings to the world. Images of sky lanterns rising slowly surrounded the venue, creating a moving atmosphere filled with hope and blessings.
Throughout the event, highlights continued one after another. The energetic Dragon Horse Dance by the Energy Boys and Girls symbolized courage and joy in the new year, while the elegant crane dance accompanied by celestial music created an atmosphere like a peaceful paradise on earth.

Angels shoot arrows of blessing, guiding the world away from darkness and back to the original purity and light of life through love and hope.
Tai Ji Men’s Martial Arts Formation also demonstrated the martial arts spirit of “stopping war and promoting goodness.” Their innovative performance “Martial Arts Reborn, Heroes in Action” brought new vitality to ancient culture while encouraging people to face life’s challenges with wisdom and courage.
