2016-06-10
"Germany won in 1980 and the coach was Jupp Dervall..." With the European Championship kicking off in France, we asked Parliament President Martin Schulz and other MEPs to share their best memories of the popular football tournament. They also reveal their plans for following the games, as well as their predictions for the winner.
In our short video, President Schulz, Spanish EPP member Santiago Fisas Ayxelà, Belgian Socialist Marc Tarabella, and Czech Liberal Martina Dlabajová share with us their memories, hopes and plans for the coming days.
We also asked Schulz for his dream team for Euro 2016. Check out what players he picked in the image to the left.
