South Korean Military, Police, and Firefighters Conduct Joint Exercise Simulating North Korean Assault on Seoul

According to media reports, North Korea has recently launched a series of missiles, causing tensions to rise on the Korean Peninsula. In response to a possible North Korean surprise attack, thousands of South Korean military, police and firefighters conducted a joint defense drill in Seoul on the 27th, which included maintaining power, water and communication facilities under a surprise attack. Argentina's New President Cuts Over 5,000 Government Jobs

Upon taking office on December 10, Argentine President Javier Milei announced massive austerity and currency devaluation policies to reverse Argentina's economic woes. One of these policies was the rehiring of more than 5,000 employees hired by the previous government during the current year. Funding for Western Aid to Ukraine Faces Obstacles

The European Union (EU) discussed in Brussels on the 14th of May to provide 50 billion euros of aid to Ukraine in the next 4 years, including 33 billion euros of loans and 17 billion euros of grants. First Attack Outside the Red Sea

Bus Overturns in Nicaragua
