The United Nations Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Ukraine, Neal Walker, on December 7, briefed UN Member States in Geneva on the humanitarian crisis in eastern Ukraine as part of the launch of the country’s Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) for 2018. The plan outlines the key humanitarian relief and protection activities required to meet the critical needs of 2.3 million men, women and children affected by the conflict in 2018.
