Texas Army Guard retires Army's last A-model AH-64 Apache helicopter
Army Capt. Stacy James Rostorfer, commander of B Company, 1st Battalion, 149th Aviation Regiment, points to areas that incurred ballistics damage on the underside of aircraft 451, the last A-model AH-64 Apache helicopter to be retired from Army service. The unit was the last to fly the A-model Apache and recently held a ceremony marking the retirement of the A-model aircraft. Aircraft 451 will be disassembled and then refurbished into the D-model AH-64 Apache Longbow.

DR Congo, Rwanda Agree on 'Partial Solution' to M23 Rebellion
The Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda have agreed to a proposal for a neutral force to be stationed along their border. The agreement, signed by the presidents of the two countries on Sunday, says the proposed force would help to eradicate the Congolese rebel movement, the M23, and other armed groups in the region.

Syrian Government Denies Attack on Village
The Syrian government denied Sunday that it used tanks and helicopters to attack the village of Tremseh in Hama province on Thursday. Activists reported mass killings in the village, but a government spokesman said only two civilians and 37 armed individuals were killed in what Damascus said was a defensive operation.

A convoy of trucks driven by the 2220th Transportation Company, Arizona Army National Guard, heads towards Tooele Army Depot, Utah, as part of Operation Golden Cargo.
